Home of the Tournament Players Club (TPC) at Prestancia, Palmer Ranch is a master-planned community of 1,000 acres. Twenty-three neighborhoods offer a wide variety of residential options from maintenance-free villas and low-rise condominiums to single-family homes and sprawling estates. TPC, which took over the Country Club of Sarasota in 1984, is a non-equity club with two 18-hole championship courses. The first is the original Country Club of Sarasota course, a par-72 course designed by Bruce Devlin and Robert Von Hagge in the mid-1970s. The second course, added in 1985, is a par-72 Stadium Course, designed by Ron Garl and Mike Souchak.
